At times a visit to a Mediterranean wholesalers is a 'hit', other times it's a 'miss'. Usually, they stock a good range of imported products, including authentic Nutella (and yes... Italian Nutella does taste different to Aussie nutella) Their pasta varieties are well priced and so too are the bakery products. Unfortunately, they do not always maintain their stock levels on all products which is a bit frustrating. It would also be nice if they could improve their customer service..It doesn't make for a pleasant shopping experience when the cashier puts your reusable shopping bags ontop of the items she has scanned indicating that you can fill them yourself...oh well... you win some..you lose some

Sydney Road offers so many great shops and dining options and this has to be one of them. They make one of the best breads in any bakery Ive been too across Melbourne; its even nicer when its just come out of the oven nice and warm. Within this grocery store there is also a caf with a number of sweets in addition a large selection of imported wine, most times Ive been here they are often offering samples of various wines. This is a must visit for me when Im in this area, 1 to pick up their bread and the other is to pick up a number of Mediterranean
Products for cooking. They also have a fantastic deli offering a wider variety of imported cheese, cured ham, and fish. The prices are ok, not always they cheapest however a lot of their products you wont be able to pick up at your everyday supermarket. They also have a small parking lot based on a side street, entrance through the back of the supermarket.

The best continental deli and supermarket in Melbourne. We took some friends who live on the other side of the yarra and they were amazed at the value for money and the variety. They all left with full shopping baskets. The freshly baked bread is a must and sells very quickly! My husband loves the wine selection....he could buy every bottle!
