Melbourne Bicycle Centre

I went to Melb Bicycle Centre on a horrible rainy day and could only get a car park on the opposite side of the street. I wanted my bike "fixed" having no idea what was wrong with it. Mark helped me get the bike out of the car (in the rain) assisted me with what I needed and carried the bike back and put it in the car for me. Customer service was fantastic, and I came out of the shop spending very little but being a very satisfied customer. Had been there many years ago, and they're still a leader in their field for variety of product, customer service and can do attitude.

They have cheap prices but their after sales service is lousy. I had a bike (a Bauer) that developed a crack in it after a year and they have been completely hopeless at helping me resolve the issue. Poor communication and lack of any sort of willingness to help out a customer who needed assistance with a faulty product. The measure of a company is what happens when things go wrong and in this regard the Melbourne Bicycle Centre fails.

Last night I had my bike stolen. Today I went to the Bicycle Centre and was help by Sarah.

Going between this store and another in the area, Sarah gave me great advice and was very patient, especially to someone that was still pretty angry and upset about losing his bike!.

Something I have learnt from today, is when you are treated friendly it should be paid back.

If you want good service from people that want to help you and you can have fun buying.

Go see the guys at Melbourne Bicycle Centre, all their staff as as great as their bikes!
