was Visited by a service man who was on time , i was told a the computer board had to be replaced and it take a few days to find one so i paid the callout fee , ok good but when i rang to find out when the it was gonna be fixed , someone in the office didnt anything about it and it was summer and they only were doing cooling ? overall terrible Unprofessional and ripped off in the end still waiting.
Terrible service and rude unprofessional behaviour from customer support who were only interested in scheduling someone to finish the incompetent job when I refused to pay the invoice after the third visit, where the job was still not completed. A total of four workers on six occasions over TWELVE weeks to fix two fans on an outdoor unit. I had to argue that I shouldn't be paying for time their worker spent standing in my kitchen, complaining his work was too hard after he'd hit himeslf with a hammer. The female cusomter support reluctantly agreed to remove half an hour of labour off the invoice (!) but her passive-aggressive communication throughout the three months was just obnoxious. Wasted seven days of my life, waiting for this company to do a good job and for the female customer support to apologise for the terrible service we received. I'm still waiting...
Will never use this company again & I warn anyone against using them. Installation was a nightmare & looked like it'd been done by a weekend handyman. After sales support was extremely poor & my refusal to settle payment was the only thing that got the job completed to any kind of an acceptable standard. I had to contract a tiler to fix the damage they'd done when installing heater vents. Nothing they do is anything near best practice. I absolutely regret choosing Melbourne Heating & Cooling.
I have been using Melbourne Heating and Cooling for years now for both my heater and my cooler, and if I could give them a 10/10 I would! The office staff are all so friendly and helpful, and the technicians are always very polite and really know what they are doing. On top of that they always have amazing seasonal offers on servicing for existing customers (that have really saved me a lot of money over the years) and I would recommend them to everyone I know. They really are an A+ company.
