Melbourne Mindfulness Foundation offers meditation and mindfulness courses, as well as meditation retreats and workshops to the general public.We run Learn to Meditate courses and the internationally recognised Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course in Melbourne for the general public. The six to eight week courses teach:
- How to relax the body and calm the mind using a range of meditation techniques.
- How to work with and manage difficult thoughts and emotions.
- How to integrate meditation into day-to-day life.
The courses are non-religious and practical, and are grounded in research. Our accessible and practical educational courses teach tools and strategies that improve wellbeing and increase resilience, and bring calm and balance into life. Whether you are wanting to feel less stressed and anxious, break bad habits, improve productivity and efficiency at work, sleep better and/or no longer be at the mercy of your thoughts, meditation, mindfulness and yoga can help. Our structured courses are also evidence based and relevant to contemporary life and are ideal for those new to meditation and mindfulness as well as those wanting to refresh their skills.
We also partner with local government, community organisations and schools to deliver affordable, culturally appropriate and conveniently located meditation courses and yoga classes.
