Melbourne Zoo

On Tuesday 22nd September 2015 i went there with Marc from 10-3 and we enjoyed looking at the animals, mammals, reptiles and stingrays.

Great for family outing with lots to see and do! Parking was cheap as it only costed us $2

Perfect for a day out with the family old and young! We spent just over five hours inside. There was plenty to see. However, one con is that the talks were all over the place and had to rush around. Otherwise, close to the city and easy to get to. Parking was $2 for five hours but the admission prices was $$.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and as to be expected, it was full of families with little kids running about.

We loved seeing the keepers out at various enclosures speaking about the animals! It was a hot afternoon but the cute little cafes dotted throughout meant we were able to stay hydrated.

Well laid out and seems like a very humane operation with happy, well-nurtured animals.

What's not to love about Melbourne Zoo - there is so much to see and it is a beautiful place and located not far from the city. It's for young and old and there are so many animals. It's easy to spend the whole day here. Highlights would have to be the elephants, gorillas, orangutans, giraffes, and the magical butterfly house. Okay, maybe the only thing not to love would be the price of the food, so save a few dollars and bring a picnic lunch.
