Meld Constructions

I have used Meld Constructions for two renovations to my house, and have been extremely pleased with the experience on both occasions. Matthew Leach is an excellent builder, with expertise in both the technical and customer relations aspects of the business. The quality of the work Meld has done on my house is excellent, and Matthew's (and his team's) attention to detail cannot be faulted.
I have heard many cautionary tales about builders who can't be trusted, or contacted. Meld Constructions is the exact opposite. Matthew always responded to my calls or emails, provided prompt and comprehensive information about the work in progress, and exceeded my expectations in every regard. As an example of Matthew's dedication to customer service, on one occasion he came to my house on a Sunday to rectify a problem not of his making.
I will definitely use Meld Constructions again.

Matthew Leach (Meld Constructions) built a new house for my wife and I in 2013. He was recommended to us by friends who were absolutely thrilled with the work he had just finished on their house. We cannot speak highly enough of Matthews professionalism, high standards of workmanship and attention to detail. He and his men worked on site every day and completed our house within 6 months, as promised. We have had nothing but positive comments about the house since it was finished. I am an architect who has worked with many builders, and it is rare to find one as dedicated and hard working as Matthew. All of Matthews workers were also hardworking, polite and professional. I believe Meld Constructions are definitely worth the money and would highly recommend them.

We used Meld Constructions in doing major renovations to a house.We found the principal Mat and his excellent staff to be polite , honest, hardworking, respectful and honest.
Their work was of a superior standard and extreme care was taken. Mat worked closely with us in deciding the various aspects of the renovation - this was practical and customer focused. - -He listened and gave us practical and excellent suggestions. Whilst Meld may not have been the cheapest but the quality was excellent and we believe we got reasonable value for money. Mat is highly intelligent having tertiary qualification and he runs a tight ship and above all well mannered as are his staff who are diligent. We would have no hesitation at all in recommending him to anyone and have done so to quite a few of our friends and acquaintances who have taken up his services.
Young , honest and technically bright - you want this company on your job.

Be weary. You will be promised one thing and delivered something else unless you are on your guard.



Some of the work is ok and although our project cost significantly more with Meld than some other quotes (cause we thought we would get a superior job) in the end I just couldn't see the value.



Recommendation: you could do better elsewhere
