Menai Animal hospital first opened its doors in 1989 introducing to the community a Class A, modern and compassionate hospital. Since then we have maintained this reputation by continuously keeping up with the latest technology and studies in the Veterinary industry. We continuously strive to provide the community with compassionate care, we love to watch our clients grow and feel very privileged to share that journey with them.

Dr Kay Pitkeathly has been here from the start as our sole Veterinarian. Kay graduated from Sydney University (BVSc) in 1980 and since then, has worked full time in companion animal practice. Kay maintains her expertise through post graduate study to continuously provide the most innovative and up to date care for your pet making her one of the best Vets in the Sutherland and St George Area.

Our vet nurses have varied experience in all areas of animal care, many breed and show dogs and cats. They are a compassionate and caring group that will make you feel right at home.

Along the way Menai Animal Hospital added a cattery to our facilities with 18 housing sections for our furry friends to come and stay in comfort.
