Mercat Cross Hotel/Skeeta Pty Ltd

Located next to the Queen Victoria Market this is a great little pub with some really cool little things, such as the sign on the toilets indicating which are the men's, and which are women's. They do have a happy hour, but unlike other pubs, it is a two for one deal, which I find a little annoying coming here to have a quiet beer after work because, well, it means that I have to turn it down because, well, I don't want two beers. However, it is a great idea for groups because it effectively means that you get half price beers. I really liked the beer pulls though some were wooden native heads, and one was a nozzle you find at the end of the hose in a petrol station. They were even making fresh donuts when I come through, though I wonder if it was part of the night markets (though you did have to walk out of the markets to get to the pub).
