Mercure Canberra

This is a sweet hotel, even if a little out of the main stream. Dinner here is okay - some things good, some not so. I have a Clam & Potato Chowder, which is less than inspiring - it arrives slopped allover the dish with rubbery tiny clams. But my Smoked Quail Salad with pear, figs and walnuts is very nice. The room is pleasant with a lovely outlook. The rooms are all situated around an open garden area which is lovely. Overall, quite nice.

Lovely boutique hotel. Makes a change from the many hotel chains situated in Canberra.
