My two kids were left in tears after this company messed-up.
Instead of emailing me a Change of Schedule they sent me a confirmation but with change of wharf. It made no mention of a change to the original schedule.
We missed the boat as we went to the original wharf and it ruined our whole day.
When I phoned up Merimbula Marina I was told that it was my fault that I did not realise that the details had changed!
All they offered me was a reschedule to a working day (rather than my original weekend booking).
Obviously the company has no idea of the difference between a 'Confirmation' and a 'Change of Schedule'
I took a whale watching cruise on sydney harbor/heads with this company & thoroughly enjoyed it. The crew were knowledgable, friendly, entertaining and professional. The boat was small enough that we could choose good seats and get closer to whales than otherwise, but big enough that it wasn't scary or too rocky.
We were the first boat to find the whales, and had a while of seeing them do all sorts of things that were explained to us by the friendly crew. We then took a bit of time to cruise along and upon our return they gave us some interesting facts about the area as we went along.
Great trip, although I'm glad we got it at a discount price as I'm not sure it was worth the regular price of $85.
