Old school! Sometimes you just want boring old school fish n chips! No salt n pepper squid or gourmet fish burgers, just a piece of fried flake, minimum chips & a burger, not with Gruyere cheese on a brioche bin but meat, lettuce, tomato, sauce on a standard old bakery bun. Well mermaids your place, as old school as they come, I'd hazard to guess the menu hasn't changed since opening! Look what they do they do well buy despite the fact that I may sound like I don't like the nouveau stuff I secretly do, so it's a lack of options that marks these guys down, but if you're hankering for traditional, they can hook you up! That's a fish pun btw!
