I think the melbourne trains are excellent!
Thank you for allowing me to take my very well trained small dog onto the trains! It has opened a whole new world to us without having to add to the mess of traffic on the roads!
Our dog goes everywhere with us and is trained to sit under the seat and be still - people would not know she was there - and when they do see her they are always delighted! We travel outside peak times in fairness to other train users!

Wanting to comment on the cleanliness and safe-feel of Ripponlea Station. It draws a nice set of passengers to it; the locals really are lovely, helpful and friendly people. The little park outside the station adds a nice touch for young families, and parking is great. We park outside a house there, no parking restrictions on the road - and it is wonderfully convenient. Falls into Zone 1 travel too, which is economical and handy. If only the machines gave more than $10 change as I have to remember to carry notes smaller than a $50. Eftpos is great, but hits you with additional ATM charges.
Service is up and down. We don't know if they're delivering good service or not. Sometimes the public transport came too early, sometimes too late. The website mentioned the time is good way to tell the customer about the time.
The price keep increasing every year~!!!
