At Metro our specialty is young learner drivers. We understand that a new learner is excited, nervous and sometimes anxious, so we do our best to make the lessons fun and stress free. However we also cater for more mature learners, those who wish to go from auto to manual and those who just need refresher lessons. International students are also welcome.

Had a good driving instructor initially but he was let go from the company for an unknown reason. Proceeded to have a nightmare of another driving instructor who threw tantrums and shouted when mistakes were made which threw me off driving for awhile. Proceeded to complain of the bad driving instructor yet their poor customer service made it as though my complaint was not valid. After such poor customer service I immediately asked for a refund of my money. DONT GO HERE, theres so much other better driving schools than this.

Thank you for your review. Although 1* seems extremely harsh given you spent 8 hours (4x2 hour sessions) with the instructor you are now complaining about.
These lessons were conducted in June 2019 - 4 Months ago and you have only just yesterday called to complain (24th October 2019) and request money back for your final 1 hour lesson.
We are very sorry if you feel that you didn't receive the service that you expected however to have 8 hours with an instructor (who has a stellar reputation by the way) and then proceed to complain 4 months after the fact is primarily the reason why the validity of this complaint was questioned - and continues to be.
Again thank you for taking the time to leave a review, albeit very inaccurate.

When I took lessons at this driving school, I was introduced to their system of teaching students how to drive. As a person who had never been behind the wheel of a car before, I was expected to learn how to drive competently and independently after ten lessons.
I don't think that this is a good system to impose at all on learner students since everyone learns at a different pace. Someone may take 5 lessons to learn how to drive competently, while others may require 30. ...read more
I had used the services of two other driving schools before my wife booked one with Metro Driving School. This one stood out from the moment I met my instructor, Stephen - Polite, friendly and professional. If it wasn't for his patience and professionalism, I wouldn't have succeeded in my first attempt.
Booking staff too were kind enough to accommodate lesson timings so that it suited me and saw to it that I had the same instructor, throughout.
