Metro Theatre

I really do not like going to this venue. The whole place looks like they never finished building it. It's dirty, sticky smelly and just overall trashy. I feel embarrassed for the international acts that perform there. You would think, for one of the main live venues in the CBD, they would present the venue a bit better.

I don't really rate this space. They get good gigs which is the drawing card but the facilities and the places itself isn't as nice as other music venues in Sydney.

Good venue for gigs. Nothing amazing though. Can get really stuffy in there too. Otherwise the venue is easy to get to and you have s bunch of places around where you can grab food and drinks prior to the show.

I've been to the Metro to see quite a few bands and for special events - It's one of my favourite venues.

It's a small venue however, you get to have a great view wherever you sit or stand.

It's also in a great location in the middle of the CBD so if you are wanting food or drinks after the gig there's plenty of options to choose from.

I love the Metro, have seen loads of bands here. Nice and small, but really good sound and a bit of seating if you need it. Bar prices are reasonable too.
