Metropolitan Built-in Wardrobes

A bad installation experience best avoided! Good pre-installation sevice only to have the installation of a wardrobe botched and not what we had agreed on after extensive consultation with Bruce. we were unable to fit tubs onto a top shelf for storage which was an important storage consideration and as was clearly specified. furthermore the installer was very rude, impolite and unable to listen to what had been asked for with the shoe storage. The quality of the installation not withstanding the other issues was also poor, with chips, poor paint cover-ups on site, bad cuts, alignments, silicon covering poor workmanship or transport damage, as well as unfinished silicon runs on join to wall. My advice as other review is to avoid this company.

AVOID this company. We had a wardrobe installed with this company but ended up out of pocket having to rectify their mistake. It was going well before installation: The measurements and quote were clear, everything was agreed. But unfortunately, Linda didn't forward the full measurements to the builders. As a result, the wardrobe they installed was too high. When we later discussed this with Bruce at Metropolitan after the installation, he confirmed if Linda had forwarded him the full job specs then he would have seen and prevented the mistake. Despite all of this Linda refused to admit that she was at fault. We had to hire another builder who came up with a new solution, which cost us money and Linda refused to compensate us.
