Alexander's Restaurant and Bar is a great place to meet with friends or family for a quiet drink or meal. Situated in the Metropolitan Motor Inn, Alexander's is easily accessible and has great atmosphere. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Alexander's is an ideal location for any meal of the day.
With the words "Best Steaks in the World" painted on the front of the restaurant, I was very sceptical. To my surprise the quality of the 'Nolan private selection' meats was amazing. The rump steak rivalled the likes of Cha Cha Char (who also source their beef from Nolan's meats), the price at Alexander's however was $10 cheaper for the same cut. The staff were welcoming and fun, aside from a few mistakes with the drink order, the service was fine. The atmosphere was a bit lacking, using music DVD's to make up for the absence of usual restaurant chatter. As for the wine selection, there isn't a extensive list, but a few nice Australian red's to try.
Overall I had a memorable experience, thanks mostly to the succulent beef and fun staff.
