My wife & I purchased a very expensive Anolon Advanced 28cm covered Sauteuse when we moved into our new house expecting it to see our kids grow up. In three years it is useless (sticks). According to the response from the customer service team is we didn't clean it properly, burned residue onto the pan and aren't covered under the LIFETIME warranty.
Sure, we didn't remove all the food, it wouldn't come off - that's the point of a non stick pan! We used plastic scourers, vinegar and soaked it for days trying to look after it to no avail.
We got a particular branded pan a year ago for one tenth the price that is going strong under the same cooking conditions - even if it sticks in two years time and we replace it we'll still be about $200 ahead- they have a long warranty period too...
Exactly the same happened with our Anolon Non Stick saucepan except it happened in a few months with cooking rice. Threw it in the garbage but should have complained but of course receipt long gone. Looking at this review because I wanted the address to complain about a 'non stick' Raco poacher (also supplied by Meyer) bought today which is about as non stick as my carpet.
