I took my wife there as a surprise recently (I have been a few times before) and she was impressed, as I told her she would be. I visit now and then because they offer great everything - coffee, desert, biscuits, meals and of course traditional music in the back ground.
greek restaurant and tapa bar on top of oakleigh market. different menu for each day which includes 5 or so mains as well as lots of tapas. we tried tapas to share - marinated octopus, prawns in tomato & fetta, fried calamari, fried small fish, 4 home made dips. chicken souvlaki skewers, lima beans - which were all really good and usually sizeable (we were sharing between 5 -6 people). tapas range between $10-$15. so can get a bit pricey when sharing tapas if you dont keep an eye on it, but very worthwhile dining experience. beers cheap and full bar available, staff very welcoming especialy with young children (including paper and crayons to draw). open wed till sunday for lunch and dinner. few desserts avialable such as sweet greek almond biscuits and baklava. also do catering, take away, functions, meetings,etc.
