I have been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years now, and it is simply due to the following: their dishes are delicious and filling, and the service is great. From their 'riz a djaj' (seasoned chicken on a bed of pilaf rice topped with toasted almonds), to their char grilled shish kafta (skewers of grilled lamb seasoned with spices), you always leave the restaurant full and satisfied. Oh, and you may be approached by a belly dancer (if you're lucky!) on Saturday nights!
This place really is great. it's got a few of those dishes that you'll always come back to. It's slightly pricer than others, however you won't leave the place feeling unsatisfied. It caters well for gluten free and vegetarian however meat eaters love this place as well. Come on a Friday/Saturday and you might even get a belly dance performance. Service can be a little shoddy... some of the waiters are nice and some just ignore you. but i go there for the food especially anyway. Atmosphere of the place and how it is decorated would be perfect for a birthday celebration as well.
