Finding a new mechanic is always a daunting task. Sick of paying for the espresso machine at the authorised service repairer for my Mini Cooper, I did quite a bit of research before speaking to Steve at Mg Auto Electrics. The two reviews below also swayed my decision to give this service centre a go. I am happy to say that it isn't so much the great price that gives this place the thumbs up, but rather the customer service. Steve was happy to go out of his way to resolve a problem that I mentioned after coming to pick the car up, and he was also great in running through what needed to be repaired and replaced, and what could wait. The meticulous presentation of his staff and the repair shop says a lot about the level of professionalism and care. Highly recommended.

These guys are great. I've never done a review but had to after the excellent service i got this morning. I called Steve yesterday asking when they could see my car. I wasn't expecting a spot for some time.....

I had already identified that the connector on my rear tail light was shot. The car is a 8yr old BMW so taking to the "Authorised" service place was guaranteed to cost me ~$200. They would have wanted to replace every part within a 1metre radius.

Steve told me to visit the next morning for a quick assessment.

I dropped in right on 8am. He saw the problem, identified a solution (wiring a bypass around the faulty connector) and completed it in 10min. I was embarrassed at how little he charged me.

Great service.

MG fit me in on short notice and did a service very quickly! My MX5 was well tuned and drove much nicer afterwards! Yeah!
