Whether is the luncheon special - $ 12 or dinner for friends...this restaurant is excellent 'best cost' around! Very good Manager who is very attentive and has a memory like an elephant for your personal preferences. If you want an intimate romantic venue to propose...its not the one...but for meeting friends and enjoying good food in a easy going environment...you cant lose with Mibaya!
As a connoisseur of sushi rolls, I was pleased to find a Japanese restaurant that serves them in a sit-down location. The atmosphere was eerily dark and quiet - especially given that it was lunchtime - but the staff were friendly, and the sushi was on a par with any food court, in terms of quality and price. My only complaint was their groundless assumption that I would like my handrolls cut up. They were sliced into pieces that were far too big for one mouthful anyway. Mibaya is a nice spot for a tranquil lunch, but do ask them to leave handrolls whole, if that is how you prefer them.
