Michelangelo's Italian Restaurant

Finally went to Michelangelos Italian restaurant at Blaxland last night for a friends birthday. It really is as good as everyone says. The new owners have had it for 2.5 years and it's the bomb, if your after a fine dining restaurant. The food was spot on & being a group of 25+ all the meals came out at once. I have never seen that done before.....anywhere. There is usually people finishing their mains as a few are still just coming out of the kitchen. Their service was on point. I have eaten at some fancy restaurants in my time, but never got service this good. The waiters knew exactly which person ordered which dish and the meats were done exactly as ordered. There was a waiter standing close by our tables to top up drinks or to check everything was ok throughout the whole night. The restaurant was fully booked too. I booked this restaurant as we had been there before some years ago and had a wonderful meal, great service in a beautiful atmosphere (flower & candle on the table, plant scattered around giving a bit of privacy, ample spacing of the tables, etc.).

Knowing that we expected something a little special for Valentine's day but we were wrong.
