Service not friendly on my first experience here.
The lady at the counter snippily remarked that the piece of cake I wanted was NOT available for sale to me outside the coffee and cake period of 11.00 am.
As soon as I ordered a coffee though, that changed and I got the piece of cake, which , as it turned out was not that fresh.
Coffee was woeful.
I think a Barista course should be compulsory for all cafes that are serious about their business, especially one that serves cake and claims to be a patisserie.
French Patisseries, on the whole, generally serve decent coffee.
On another occasion the Coffee Tower I bought was rich and delicious and the service was good.
What really lets this cafe down is the quality of coffee though. It just isn't there but with great coffee, this would soon become a better known and better respected establishment in cafe circles.
