The sales team was great in showing me rental properties and very efficient in the application process. However, the experience during the tenancy was horrible.

1. Requesting maintenance for an item, the property manager was hostile! She immediately accused me of damaging the item and said that I need to pay for it. The item at the end being fixed under warranty.

2. Upon ending the tenancy, the property manager was oppressive, threatening to go to VCAT if I didn't agree to pay for overpriced cleaning and maintenance expenses. At the end, VCAT ordered that I only needed to pay 15% of the amount the property manager demanded. It took me a month to get my bond back.

Basically, you are no longer their customers once you signed up for a lease but someone they can bully. No respect to tenants at all. Very unprofessional.

The worst experience I have ever had! I've been with MICM on and off for the last 3 years- not only is there no customer service at the point cook branch but they never return your calls and its ALWAYS the customer's fault.

I will be making a formal complaint to ACCC and lodging a case with VCAT due to money I am owed from the passed 2 months. No one wants to return my calls- apparently they have gone on leave and haven't passed any "call notes" or anything about my accounts to the next person who is as incompetent as the last person anyway. ...read more

Mcim looks nice. Over the last two years they have never followed up on any issues or returned a call. The managers are never will to answer the phone. Complaints are ignored.I have been on a lease for a whole year after I have moved out due to there failure to do there job. I would advise to stay clear for your own sanity. Ps every thing must be done by email.(they never receive or reply to email).

During my recent hunt for a Melbourne city apartment, and in what was sometimes a frustrating experience, MICM Propertys professional approach stood out. They went out of their way to offer relevant suggestions and show me suitable properties. They were reliable in following up on queries and, when I finally purchased a property through MICM Property, the agent was helpful, flexible and communicative throughout the final contract and settlement process. I certainly appreciated their efforts and would be happy to recommend his services to others in the future.
