Very disappointed! I took a 94 mitsubishi in for a general service and what a headache followed! Firstly the "service" was not done properly the windscreen wiper fluid wasn't topped up nor was the brake fluid $149 I paid for this. I was told that my car needed several things changed and that it was unsafe etc. Yet at my previous service 5 month prior my car was fine. I ended up just changing the 2 belts with them cost a further $75. Anyway when I took my car back from midas there was a horrible sound coming from the lower left side every time the car went over a bump or uneven road. Took it elsewhere to discover that the pin in the brake had not been put back in and that was the rattling sound. Someone "forgot" to put the pin back in. Also my car squeals now every time I turn it on never used to do that I think it's the belts that were not tightened properly. Never again midas never again! Waste of time and money!
Sometimes a business goes out of it's way for you, and, although I have been a customer of Midas for many years, this one particular day of kindness and helpfullness just out-shone everything. I had rung Danny for some help with my cars starter motor, Danny offered to take a look for me, but, I told him I couldn't get it started. He sent one of his mechanics around straight away and with his help I got the car started. I then drove up to his *garage* where another of the guys looked it over and definitely diagnosed a starter motor problem. Danny then arranged a lift home for me. Later that day, he kept me up on the problem, costs involved etc.... he came by in my car and picked me up so I could pay for the work and take my car back home. I could not fault the service at all, and it just reinforced *WHY* we always take our car here and never anywhere else.
