Midland Cycles

Disappointed firstly the lady at the front counter seemed rude and disinterested and then the tall guy wanted to sell me a bike that I didn't want.Try listening to the customers.

Went into Midland Cycles today to check out the shop and get myself a seat post clamp.
Had a look around then asked for help with finding the right sized clamp. The lady just pointed to where they would be. Expressed no interest in helping me find the right size. Looked at what the had to offer and the fancy ones in the display case has no sizes or pricing on them. I asked if she knew the sizing and she said no, but they look like the right size.
A couple of days ago I went into another shop. The guy went out of his way to check the sizing of clamps for me but did not have any in stock.
This lady almost acted like she didn't want my custom. So I just said if they don't know the sized I best not by it then and walked out. Will take my money elsewhere.

Paid $100 for a bike service...included new brake shoes, but very disappointed to find that the freewheel/drailleur/chain were not cleaned. Basically they checked the nuts and bolts, cables and replaced brake shoes.....very poor value for money in my opinion.
