Mieka Hairdressing

I'm back Mieka and loving you! I had been a regular customer of Mieka for years but then moved to the other side of Melbourne and it just wasn't practical to get across to Collingwood. After several years, I have moved closer to the salon. Not really close but close enough to make the small trek to Mieka. It's so good to be back! I had a colour with Olivia and a cut with Bernie and they were both brilliant. I love my new do and the styling tips they gave me makes it so easy to manage. Great advice!! I had never felt 100% happy with the cut and colour I had at other salons and good reason - they weren't up to the standard of Mieka. There is a reason they have won so many awards. They are brilliant!

It's no wonder they have won so many awards, one they have amazing customer service. They make you feel welcome and looked after constanly offering coffee, tea, water, magazines. Everyone who walks past you or catches your eye smiles there just amazing with customer service.



In regards to cut and colour your hairdresser will consult with you, what you want and expect, then they will tell you how they will achieve that. They also quote you on everything before you go ahead so no surprises when paying. They are colour and styling geniuses. I would highly recommend them, all aspects of your visit would be amazing. For those who claim it's costly you get what you pay for! Let me tell you it's well worth it my hair looks amazing and I'm constantly complimented and asked where I got it done.

I have been going to Mieka for two years and have NEVER been disappointed, D'Artagnan is an absolute Great Lengths extensions GENIUS and he also teaches people from all over Victoria, all their colourists (even the juniors) are better than you'll find in any other hair salon in North Melbourne suburbs, they're realistic in regards to expectations and always deliver. I admit they are pricey however they have a chat with you about you want done and give you a quote before going ahead with anything which I really appreciate. I doubt I'll ever change salons.

I was recommended by a work colleague after having been to many high profile salons before. I believe you get what you pay for and i have had more compliments on my hair then i ever have. Their attention to detail more then exceeded my expectations, and i feel great!!! Thanks Mieka! Margie.

Shocking treatment, constant upselling and they tried to charge me $75.00 for my 13 year old sons haircut. Since when did a haircut cost more a minute than open heart surgery? Give your hard earned money to anyone else.
