Mikes Meats

I've had some iffy experiences with buying meat in bulk in the past where it's gone off before the use by date, but the straw that broke the camels back happened today when I thought I would give them another chance when buying something for dinner tonight. I got to the checkout and went through the transaction and it turned out I was short by a dollar, so I opted to pay by EFTPOS they refused. I offered a little bit extra to cover the cost of the transaction (having run a small business before, I have a fair idea of what it costs to process EFTPOS transactions), but they said I'd have to pay an extra dollar for them to be able to put through the transaction. While that in itself irritated me a bit, what annoyed me more was the attitude of the old lady behind the counter. I can say that I'm never going to shop at Mikes Meats ever again and I will tell everyone else that I know that their service is poor and unfriendly and that their products are dodgy at best.
