This place it horrible. Going into was a MISTAKE. I went in for a manicure, pedicure and upper lip wax. When I was having my lip waxed, the beautician wanted to wax my eyebrows as well. I said no, but they
insisted that they looked awful, and so I consented to having the edges tidied up. They are barely visible - not to mention uneven - now, and I refuse to leave the house. Next was the manicure, which resulted in my bleeding profusely from one finger. The pedicure was mediocre at best, and my lip and the area around my mouth is still swollen. If you would like to blow all of your self esteem and look dreadful, and pay an inappropriate amount of money to do so, this is the place for you.
I walked into Milan Beauty & Nails as a mystery shopper together with a friend. I decided to get acrylics done. However, the nails started to come off after 1 week it's really frustrating because I keep getting them caught through my hair when I brush my hands through or pull it to the side. The staff who was doing my nails also wouldn't listen to me when I was asking how I wanted them to be shaped as well, staff kept trying to push on that they should be long "don't wolly, you will rike, I plomise, no wolly", and after insisting so many times that I needed them to be a little bit shorter than what staff was trying to keep them at staff gave up and then made me feel bad for how I wanted my nails! My experience at Milan Beauty & Nails was somewhat pleasant apart from the sounds my friend was making, who decided to get a pedicure, she was in agony because the staff doing the pedicure on her was apparently really rough. I went and got a pedicure and shellac manicure. They were absolutely terrible!!!! My nails look like my 5 year old cousin painted them and I paid $80. They would not fix or give me a refund for my nails. They insisted they were fine even though I have bleeding nails, bubbles throughout, the colour not covering all of my nail and parts of the colour/ nail flaking already after 30 minutes.
They are absolutely terrible and rude. Never go here!!
Absolutely love this place! The girls that work there are so caring and friendly. They make time there the most splendid! There prices are cheap and they do a fantastic job. I don't know what the people below are talking about, these girls are the best in south yarra!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
