I am very grateful to Tony for the help he gave us. My son did some work while at Tony's backpackers. His pay came when he was not around, and on his request, it got given to another person living at the same place. This person took off with the money and by all appearances, it was not going to be paid back. Tony took it upon himself to work with me to ensure this money was recovered. I can't thank him enough, really. Your help was greatly appreciated, Tony, thanks.
I stayed here for around 3 months or so. The owner Tony tries his best to make sure you get the best jobs and that you get paid fairly by the farmers. The accommodation is in nice self contained units with a good atmosphere among all the backpackers there. Thanks Tony!
I stayed here nearly 8 months and I had a really good time. The accommodation is really good, you live in a self-contained unit which gives you privacy but you have other backpackers around as well. Tony and his family are lovely people, always friendly and always very helpful. No matter what issue you have Tony always has an open ear for you and good advise. He is always trying his best to find you work and he is always honest about the work situation unlike other working hostels in Mildura that promise you the blue from the sky and you end up with nothing. I really loved being there and it felt like being home. Mildura Central Backpackers should be your first choice if you're gonna go to Mildura.
i also stayed at Mildura Central Backpackers last year with my girlfriend for 6 weeks we found Tony and his wife very caring people, and we got all we expected from there, the weather was greate work was hard pay was fare, we had problems getting our pay from the last contractor, Tong got is for us before we left Australia and put it in our bank account, we would love to come back and stay longer one day, thank you for evrything Tony
