This course is for people who want to work as cleaners. When you have finished this course you will have developed a high standard of skills and knowledge needed to perform routine cleaning maintenance duties, follow established cleaning practices and work in a safe manner. You will learn how to clean domestic & commercial premises. e.g. shopping centres, health care environments, council buildings, hotels, offices, rental properties and food preparation areas (kitchens) and the correct knowledge & use of chemicals and up to date cleaning equipment.

Flexible Delivery- This attendance allows for learning and assessment in a variety of modes. This may include on campus off campus, distance learning, online learning and combinations of any of these.

An Asset Maintenance Cleaning Operations course is involved in training you in:

*operating vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and debris from floors and work areas
*cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture and fittings
*sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing floors
*cleaning laundry, kitchen, toilet and bathroom fixtures and floors and replenish supplies
*emptying and cleaning ashtrays and waste containers and removing rubbish
*removing graffiti
*cleaning walls and ceilings
*showing you how to wash & clean *windows & fly screens 5 times faster then you can now
*explaining what is your responsibility with Occupational Health & Safety
*correct knowledge & use of cleaning chemicals
*working in a team
learning how to use the latest equipment, eg Suction floor polishers, *Carpet shampooer, Wet & Dry vacuum cleaner
