Very disappointing experience, which is saddening because we have happily frequented the bookshop on many occasions. However my friend and our children were there today and the service was very slow, the woman working in the bookshop was very stuffy and impolite and literally plucked a book out of my seven year old's hands, which would have been understandable had he been mistreating it, but he had cleaned his hands, asked me if he could go and get it and then sat down next to me to look at it. Her manner was worse than any antiquated librarian!My son is an avid reader and I did not take kindly to her manner. Might I also add that my friend's son dropped ONE crumb on the floor and she also stooped down and made a point of picking it up! Utterly ridiculous - I am indignant!
