Preventative Health Care
The hospital caters for all areas of preventative health care including vaccinations, microchips and heartworm injections. Our fully qualified staff can also offer professional advice on tick and flea prevention, gastrointestinal worming, dietary requirements and weight loss for your furry best friend.
Medicine
We offer workups and treatments for a range of medical issues including but not limited to arthritis/lameness, cardiovascular and respiratory issues, chronic gastrointestinal disease, dermatological disorders, hormonal disease, infectious diseases and skin or internal cancers. We also offer regenerative medicine via platelet rich plasma therapy.
Surgery
Routine surgical procedures such as castrations, ovariohysterectomies [speys] and dentals are performed week days. Dr Matt has his memberships in small animal surgery and has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery [including gastrointestinal, skin wound reconstruction including skin grafts and flaps] and orthopedics [fracture repairs, advanced cruciate ligament repair using the Tibial Tuberosity Advancement or TTA technique]
Radiology
The hospital is equipped with a high powered Porta 120 HF unit for diagnostic imaging of the abdomen, thorax and musculoskeletal system.
Behavioural Therapy
Our Polite Puppy Preschool is run by our Delta Society accredited trainers and is aimed at preventing the most common behavioural disorders in dogs. For those pets that have already developed behavioural problems we offer evidence based solutions combining behavioural modifying drugs and training techniques.
