Minchinbury Fruit Market

ive been going here since i was a child and im now 28 best quality fruit and veg the staff are great and most have been working there since i was a child so its great to be greated with a familiar frendly face, and since the butcher started there ive never had a problem with them either, also the security people from private security are really nice i had them help me by collecting my trolley when i was finished with it, i travel from penrith to get my fruit and veg now and i always will

Whilst shopping at the fruit market a few weekends ago, I was appalled by the way staff members where getting spoken to by their management. The staff at the registers have always been fast paced and friendly towards me and I found no reason for them to abruptly be told to hurry up and work faster. Although the fruit and vegetables are fresh and reasonably priced at the fruit market, treating staff poorly is not acceptable.

Just to clarify ...



Marathon Meat House is located inside Minchinbury Fruit Market however they have nothing to do with the fruit market. They are two totally separate businesses, so i think it is wrong for people to rate the butcher under the fruit markets name.



We have been going to Minchinbury fruit market for many, many years and travel 20 mins to get there. They are always fresh and the produce is excellent. Customer service is great and whenever we have had a problem (which only happened once) they were very accommodating and solved the problem.



Maybe people need to be a little more specific if they are going to state negative comments regarding a business, especially if another business is operating inside another ! Both business are cheap and offer fantastic service.



Totally recommend Minchinbury Fruit Market and the butcher to anyone !!!

We have been customers of the Marathon Meat House since day one.

We are also sorry to say that we have just visited them for the last time. We recently bought cold cuts and as we packed these in containers at home to place in the fridge we noticed a slight OFF smell.
