Minchinbury Salvos Store

A veteran op-shopper, I'm proud of the threads that I've picked up from various stores across Sydney. However, Minchinbury Salvos Store has been a bit of a stand out for me as the items they receive and stock are diverse and quirky. My only issues are that this store is a lot more expensive than other stores and the customer service was pretty shocking. Oh well - for a service and store that offers quality items at affordable prices, that allow for sustainable practice, I shouldn't complain!

I love this store, not only because the Mt. Druitt branch, were I live, is really unaffordable now, but because they are amazingly caring when you are really in need it. shopping here cheers me up every-time.

Just about everything you could imagine you'll find in this store (except for food!). Perfect for the lover of antique dinnerware, lots of old books, records and some good vintage clothing. I've picked up a beautiful painting for $25 and some great retro clothes. Every week there are discounted tickets on some clothing for even more savings. A must see!
