First time to Ming's Palace and we made the trip just for the Peking duck which is meant to be the best in Adelaide. I haven't eaten it anywhere else so I can't say whether that's true but it was pretty good. It was three courses - the duck pancakes, duck fried rice and duck soup (which comes out at the end of the meal). Delicious. We also ordered a variety of vegie dishes which were delicious - particularly the green beans.
Ming's Palace has been in business for so many years and is always a very good place to dine out on a friday night. The Peking duck there is the most delicious and famous Chinese dish in Adelaide and the resturant is said to be one of the best Chinese resturant in ADELAIDE with live seafood and so on. Great for functions and caterings as well.
Mings is always a great night out. The service is friendly and uncomplicated and the food is always good - best Roast Duck in Adelaide (order in advance) and a very good choice of wines for a Chinese restaurant and Ming himself is usually willing to come have a chat at the end of the night. Good value for money too - expect around $30-40/head depending on how much wine/alcohol you wish to consume (less if you don't drink).
