Reasonable mobile tech service but horrible account and business acumen. Not worth the hassle, buy else where DO NOT host with them! Quote "If you do not like our service go elsewhere" Unquote, so I did - nett savings P/A of $980.00 - Gold! And service 24/7 for the same price.
This customers service was suspended due to non payment, only after we suspended the service did we receive the overdue amount. Our hosting services are based on a prepaid service model, even with this in mind we did not suspend the service until 10 days after payment was overdue.
I have utilised MobileTechs on for technician work and hardware suppliers for over 5 years now. While I have held different positions in different companies, MobileTechs has always been able to help me with my queries and requests. My most recent interaction with the company was for a VoIP system which services 60 people, with 4 of those international. The service worked as described, and working with the MobileTechs team we have been able to expand the functionality with minimal fuss for a fantastic service. 10/10. Will keep using them and recommending them for the next 5 years!
Awful service, bad attitudes, minimal product knowledge, all round bad experience. Would definitely not recommend them touching your computer, unless you'd like to lose all your information and data.
Every IT Company has in their Terms and Conditions that no data retention is guaranteed and all data should be backed up before asking for any repairs to be performed. Even though that is in our terms and conditions we make every effort to retain data and make a copy and work with copied data not the original hard drive. If you have a physically damaged drive with i/o errors there is always the chance of data loss from the damaged areas .The Macbook was picked up from this customer last Friday with a corrupted hard drive, Mobile Techs as requested copied an image of the faulty drive to a replacement unit . A repair was performed on the operating system which allowed the system to boot. Unfortunately some files were corrupted which for the customer was not acceptable.
