Modern Cut

Yesterday I went into this store to get a haircut Ive been meaning to for a little while now. The person that served me did not greet me and was not friendly at all. The person asked what I wanted done and I said just a trim around the sides and back. I specified that I did not want the fringe cut AT ALL and what happens person goes at the fringe I am satisfied with the back and sides, can't go too wrong there but if someone says don't touch the fringe you better listen...

Today I waited about 25-30mins for my 2 year old son to get a hair trim...all good, I don't mind waiting. I was a regular getting a hair trim for myself until today. So after waiting, I got my son to sit on my lap and as expected with most young kids he cries while the apron is getting wrapped around him...it has happened before and he always stops after its on. Anyways, so pretty much between 20-30 secs of crying the girl who usually cuts my hair said that her boss told her not to cut his hair and said to come back another day!! She didn't even try to talk to my son or wait and see once the apron was on. They made me feel humiliated, and pretty much wasted my time. Surely they have cut other childrens hair knowing that some dont even sit still at all? If they couldn't handle a child why make us wait for nothing?? I'm also very pregnant and did not appreciate having to lift my 2 year old around for NOTHING! So I left as told and went to another hairdresser in the shopping ...read more

I was time poor, so I dropped in to have my trimmed into a bob cut - no layering just taking the ends off as it already was a bob. The staff's first comment was - oh, your colour is very faded, I told them it was a semi - They then told me my hair was very uneven at the back, which is not true as I had seen the job the previous hairdresser did & had received many compliments. After they cut my hair, they asked if I wanted a blow-wave ($70 all up if I wanted it, otherwise $35 for just the cut). I said no, they proceeded to dry off my hair & burnt my head in the process. I am now left with the worst haircut, very uneven, pieces of hair hanging down some parts shorter than the other. My 11 year old could do a better job! Waste of money, would never go back. I also think the main problem with this salon is very high turnover with staffs. Obviously they didnt check staff 's work when they applied for the job.
