Do not go to this salon! Went in to have blonde foils put in as I have had many a time elsewhere. Walked out $150 out of pocket with a brown patch of hair on my forehead and bright orange regrowth. To make it worse they only offered to fix it with a toner (which wouldn't last long anyway). After visiting twice and calling multiple times I'm still waiting for a call from the management in regards to the possibility of getting a refund.
I have quite dry wavy hair & I needed my hair done for my dancing competition so i went in asking if I could get a colour done but one of the staff members said to me there is no way im touching your hair I was so embarrassed & hurt by the response I didnt know what to say.I went to another salon in the centre cause I needed my hair done & I found myself apologising to them because I was self conscious about my hair & was totally embarassed to even ask someone to do my hair.This salon looked after me made my hair beautiful soft & shiny & gave me confidence again, I was totally in love with my hair so I went passed modern cuts to show them my response to their rudeness & LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM.Would never go near this shop again I will be spreading the experience to everyone aswell

After having a terrible experience with another hair salon, who insisted they needed to bleach my very light brown hair in order to turn it dark blonde, then wanted to charge me $300!! My hair was so dry and damaged I was considering cutting it short and starting all over again.
Liz recomended an amazing product to help repair my hair, coloured (foils were used, NO bleach) it to the blonde I was looking for to begin with, AND only charged me $110 (Weekend rate).
The orange, bracey colour I was left with after the bleaching incedent is now completely gone and I once again have healthy, natural looking hair.
If your looking for a natural colour, or have hair in need of repair, I have no hesitation in recommending Liz from Modern Cuts.
I recently went in for a trim here and ended up with a disgraceful haircut. The staff cut a huge chunk out of my fringe that was quite noticeable and then proceeded to cut layers into my sleek bob instead of just using the thining scissors! Would definitely not go back there again.
