Before I went on my morning walk (not that I make a regular habit of that) I decided I wanted to find a place where I could sit down and have a cup of tea. Well, this place was really convenient, so I decided to step in a check it out. The first thing that stood out was how welcoming the staff were, despite the fact that they were still in the process of opening up the cafe. The place just had a really nice charm about it, and gave that extra spark. Oh, and the tea was really nice as well, which I guess is what counts.
Enjoyed a late breakfast and coffee, hubby ordered two coffee's he enjoyed it that much. We had the eggs Benedict and fruit loaf toast (great mix of fruit and nuts and a good thick slice).
The staff didn't seem to know who was serving whom, we had at least three staff members repeatedly offer us coffee, cutlery and to take our orders. This was a bit frustrating and they appeared to not have enough to do or not know how to look busy. They were quick to clear our finished dishes which was ok.
