Monards

BUYER BEWARE for any watch servicing and sales.

Unfortunately, my experience with Monards has NOT been a good one.
Sent my watch in for servicing earlier this pre-COVID19 (OMEGA Planet Ocean) this year and got it back at the start of June.

Huge product range and knowledgable staff. I was fortunate to be served by Patricia (the owner), who is a veteran in the industry.

My shopping experience at the Chadstone store was fantastic. The staff at Chadstone were very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and most importantly patient. They helped me to choose the right product and the service was excellent.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had.
I made the mistake of purchasing a watch there only to have the watch be a faulty item hours after purchase. So I returned to the store where I was Approached by the management staff after explaining and showing the problem they refused to give any refund, replacement or assistance what so ever, they said that because they are not a watch maker and only sells watches that they can not confirm that the watch has a fault (the crown would not wind the movement) Therefor no refund or replacement would be granted. I argued the point that the watch has an obvious and major fault and that the watch is unusable in its current state. Purchased an Omega Deville Co-Axial from Monards. I contacted all three Omega Authorised Dealers in Melbourne and Monards came up aces both in service and in price.

I was addressed immediately as I entered the store. The sales assistant (Nancy) was very helpful, and went through great lengths to secure my business.

Iif you are in the market for a luxury watch, I fully recommend you make your first stop, Monards.
