Montes Lounge

The moment I saw and walked into this place I was amazed I was in Alice and not somewhere in the inner west Sydney! It felt like it used to be some sort of circus with all the old worn out circus equipments, which i thought was really cool. I loved the seating areas too facing the main road, with good tunes. Few of my friends are living in Alice and they said this is definitely their fave place to go.

This is a fantastic restaurant and equally a fantastic bar. Here at Monte's Lounge, you will find plenty of locals as well as tourist. I'm not from Alice Springs, but it looks as though this is one the popular places that most locals and tourist visit. Monte's has a circus theme going on which I think is very unique. The food is fantastic, I had the parma one night, it was so good that I came back the next day to have it again. Although small in size, it made for quality. They have a massive outdoor area which I found more enjoyable as inside felt a bit hot. There is parking at the back of the venue and plenty of parking across the road. If I was to visit Alice Springs again, I would definitely return here. Highly recommended regardless what night of the week.
