I do have to stick up for Montezumas in spite of having also written a glowing and honest review for their competition. Yes, the MANAGEMENT are horrible. The STAFF are amazingly friendly and genuine and I love them all.
The food is plentiful and always hot and fresh, and their fajitas are amazing! I think there is room for both Montezumas and Casa Mexicana in Labrador - if it's just the 2 of us we go to Casa, but if we take the kids out it's Montezumas for sure.
I agree the staff there are fantastic, but the food was just so...processy, and to the deal with rude management, just topped it off. for the price, never again
Am surprised at the review below as everytime have dined at Montezuma's Labrador (regular) have had no complaints as far as the food goes (not sure what he actually ordered). My personal fave is the Montezuma's Delight - the crispy vegie salad goes great with the beans. They've just started serving fajitas & they're worth a try too. I'll keep going back!
Terrible food went just down the road to casa mexicana and got the best food and service I've had in a while!!
I don't know where you ate, but Montezumas is the best Mexican in town. Highly recommend it, always busy, friendly beautiful staff and the food is fantastic.
i went to labrador montie's, now i love montie's old burleigh theater but labrador one suck's! then the management was rude to us, so we paid for our drinks and went to a little mexican place that had opened up two doors down called casa mexicana and it was fantastic! the service was personalised and the food was dreamy, We've gone back twice since and nothing has changed, the food was 5 star and they even remembered that i don't like beans and gave me extra rice, then as we were paying they gave us a shot of tequila on the house, if your ever in labrador check it out, you'll catch me there wednesday nights getting a burrito or eating the apple pastry thing with ice cream haha!!
There aren't that many mexican restaurants on the gold coast, mostly the choice is limited but Montezuma's does not dissapoint. Having an authentic style of mexican dining, they give a wide variety of different dishes in different combinations also. The food is quite good and they offer full bar service also for those that want to try some margharita's
I have dined at this Resaurant many times over the years and will continue to do so. It is a very family friendly restaurant with generous size meals that are of a consistently good quality and good value for money. A great place for a quick casual meal. It is not fine dining but does not pretend to be.
