Everything is so perfectly French, from the red leather lounges and crisp white linen tablecloths, to the marble bar top and the tempting selection of French drinks on display.
The menu at Montrachet is a delight to read, with all dishes written in French and an English description offered.


This French brasserie pops up on every ultimate list, year in, year out. And with good reason – it’s the best restaurant in Brisbane. Truly amazing French cuisine. All of the dishes are superb, so I would recommend sharing so that you can try a bit of everything. The service was fabulous as well - very personal and helpful.

What a magical dining experience. Everything about Montrachet is wonderful - the food, the wine, the service, the atmosphere - EVERYTHING! I think my husband died and went to fromage heaven when we were served our cheese platter after dinner.

Genuinely incredible food. The service is wonderful. The restaurant emulates a French brasserie perfectly, and the food is always top notch. Montrachet is expensive, but it's absolutely worth it. Always a really enjoyable evening out.

Great food and impeccable service. We ordered the degustation menu and they went beyond expectations to accommodate a food intolerance. Highly recommended.
