I had a lot of problems with this company. There were numerous issues with the table we brought, it had to be fixed and altered three times. Although the store person was initially apologetic, she did not reply to my final text about the disrespectful delivery person and a final small issue with the table. I gave up and will fix it myself. It has been extremely stressful, I even had to draw a picture of the table with the dimensions to finally get it right. I can’t believe that a furniture company can make so many mistakes.

We purchased a custom made boardroom table and buffet unit from Moorwood in November 2011 and are so thrilled with the quality and end result. All minor adjustments we requested were understood and executed with very high attention to detail.

Custom made furniture can be a bit tricky because it relies on alot of details to make the end piece exactly what you want it. In this case it was totally worth it and we will definately be going back to Moorwood for future custom made items.

I had a dining set made by moorwood a month ago and I am completely satisfied. Not only is the furniture beautiful, it is exactly the way I wanted it. I had very specific ideas concerning the size and look of the furniture and I found the staff at moorwood to be very professional, friendly and helpful, taking alot of time to listen to what I wanted and going out of their way to see to it that I got what I asked for. I will definately use this company again and can certainly recommend them.

I have my furniture made by moorwood recently and some years ago.



The store person was very patient with me and suggested reasonable options. We had gone through a number of drawings for my final approval before they started making my furniture.



I got exactly what I asked for. I recommend this company.

I also had an appalling experience with this company.

I chose a dining table from the floor specifying the size of the table-top, colour and character. When the table arrived the legs were clearing not the same size as the one on display in the shop. We measured the ones in the shop as there was a 3cm difference in the leg size. After going back and forth they said that is the way they are now making this table and that they would exchange it.



After about 1-2 months they've come back saying the order was correct because the table leg was not specified on the order... ridiculous. They'd already admitted the legs were the incorrect size.



I would avoid dealing with Moorwood - there are plenty of other options on Johnston St.
