Mordialloc Sporting Club

All I can say is that I really don't like this place. At first I thought it was just pokie machines but when I came back here again and looked around I found a sports bar out the back and a restaurant upstairs, however that did not change my impression of this place. Personally I don't like pokies and gaming lounges, and the sports bar simply felt a little too rough for me, especially where sports bars are concerned. However they did have a beer garden out the back that was large enough for me to be able to find a nice quiet spot. This seems to be a place where most of the locals spend their time, especially since it is nowhere near as classy as some of the other places in Mordialloc. Still, I have been here twice now and I certainly won't be making my way back here anytime soon, despite it being down the Mordialloc. There are much better places here to spend your time.

Ate at Level One. Great food, good service and what about that view!!! This will become a fave and a regular for our dinner club.

Well for the non vegetarian this place is great, the food is very nice, the curried sausages or the lamb shanks are done non better anywhere else. Also I am not usually a fan of vegetable soup but they do a terrific one when on the menu be sure to try. The service is polite and very quick and prices are extremely reasonable. Upstairs also has a wonderful view of the bay.

I had dinner at "Level One" with friends. I was disappointed to find only 1 vegetarian meal on the menu. When I asked if the chef could do something else, I was offered Nachos or Bruschetta from the entree menu. The chef then offered me linguine or risotto, I chose the risotto. I was presented with a plate of white rice with tomato and mixed vegies. A very poor substitute for risotto. I'm sure I'm not the only vegetarian that has questioned the lack of choice on the menu. I won't be going there again.
