My experience was bad and it makes me so upset that people can be allowed to treat customers as this management did me......
After booking over the phone for 2 nights I was asked what time I expected to arrive and check in and I said around 7pm on a Friday night. I was never told though that they ask this because the reception shuts at 6:30pm (?!) Given I drove from the city on a Friday night the traffic was terrible and I was on track to arrive at around 8:30pm instead. At 8pm I received a intensely rude phone call from the management demanding to know my whereabouts as I had not arrived at the exact time I had approximated. Booked queen bed suite for Sat night well in advance, c'card was charged and received confirmation email, bed config: queen bed, as per booking. Arrived 2.45pm but was given key to a twin single room. Despite confirmation email and being charged for the queen bed in advance, they claimed twin single room was 'as booked'!
No apology, they denied responsibility for rectifying, advised us all other rooms and accom in Mornington booked out so tried to convince my wife and I to stay (initially at full cost) in the two single beds.
Genuine accommodation providers would bend over backwards to make up for this (eg: 50% off, free breakky), NOT HERE THOUGH!!
Drove back to Melbourne (45 min). Waiting on refund to appear on my c'card.
