They sell yarn.
I mean, YARN! From all kinds of beautiful natural fibres to the squeaky synthetic fibres. There's a spindle in here that you can use to make your own yarn, for free.
The ladies behind the counter range from adorably eccentric to just knowledgeable about all kinds of things yarn related.
Downstairs is dedicated to yarn only, upstairs you find other bits and pieces like cross stitching patterns, needles, sewing implements, craft supplies, crafting boxes that are just pretty and a range of other things.
The thing that I like about this place is that they don't mind you coming in and sitting down and doing your thing.
So come in and say hello to these lovely lasses sometime.
They don't even bat an eyelid when you feel up every single coloured yarn in the place that looks like it might feel good.
Have been in this store multiple times and have yet to purchase anything. They have beautiful wool and wool-blend yarns but a very limited selection of cotton. Would love to see a larger range of colors and choice in their cotton line or even add a selection of synthetic yarns for those allergic to wool.
