I'm never going back to this butcher ever again. I asked for pork bones with lots of meat. So he said there's plenty of meat on the bones. I paid $11 dollars for almost 2kg. When I got home there were no meat on the bones. Now I can't have my boil up. The butcher was a lying sod.
I recently moved back into the area and have rediscovered Morris Place Butchers, I remember shopping for meat here as a kid in the early 1960's. All the meat I have bought has been brilliant. After trying one of their "pancetta bombs" (chicken wrapped around a savoury stuffing then wrapped in pancetta), I had a bit of a rave on FB and my daughter declared I had to have a pancetta bomb party. It became the family housewarming yesterday afternoon. Everyone absolutely adored the meat, including the huge house made sausages. I also have an ex-navy cousin salivating at the prospect of real corned beef rather than pre-packaged imitations. All I can say is "come and visit and buy".
Having driven over from Cockburn to see my siter in Gwelup, we called in Morris Butchers.
The meat is absolutely beautiful, so much variety and i would have brought far more than I
did but no room in freezer.
The staff are extremely nice, cant wait to go back again.
Told them to move to Cockburn !! thanks guys.
