Poor communication, told was approved, then declined. Constantly asked questions via email for two solid weeks after a face-to-face interview - why didn't he cover that at interview stage?
Didn't seem to know financial products well, will not consider using again and wouldn't recommend.
We have used Mark and Mortgage Choice in the past and continue to use their services. When it comes to loans I don't have the time or knowledge to search through all the different options out there. It wasn't until we spoke to Mortgage choice that we realized that our variable interest rate (with a big bank) was more than 1/2% higher than what mortgage choice could get me through THE SAME institution. Unless you know an expert like Mark that can find the best rate that suits your requirements then you may be paying too much as well.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mark Lewis and Mortgage choice and I regularly do.
Mark's franchise of Mortgage Choice was who I used to check out how much money I could borrow when I was shopping for an apartment in 2007. While I didn't go ahead with the purchase, I have to say this particular franchise was very helpful in the advice they offered me, when they showed me all the different loan options available. When I do proceed with a real estate purchase, Mark will be my first port of call.
